Amira Youssef
Project Leader
Amira is a mental health advocate who aims to work with diverse groups of people to promote wellbeing. Her interest in social service work began in her teenage years, after working as a peer mentor to support younger students in their transition into high school. After graduation, she studied Psychology at Western University in London, Ontario, with special interests in English Literature and Gender Studies. Most recently, she received a diploma from the Addiction and Mental Health Worker program at Centennial College to gain practical knowledge and experience in the field. Amira is excited to continue to learn and engage within the community by continuing her journey with the team at ABRAR in order promote mental healing, growth, and maintenance.
