I am a Master of Social Work Student at the University of Windsor. I currently work at the Halton District School Board as an Educational Assistant. I have a postgraduate certificate in addiction and mental health, along with my undergraduate degrees in psychology and sociology. I have had a chance to work in the community for many years as a community worker at an organization called community living, where I work with students and young adults with special needs and behavioral needs. I have also worked as a behavioural therapist in Peel, where I directly provided applied behavioral analysis intervention to individual in need of those services. I also worked at non-profit organizations, with vulnerable and marginalized youth and elders within the community and offered activities and resources to provide support. I have also provided support at St Michael's homes, which is an organization that deals with people dealing with addictions and mental health issues. I've also work at a crisis helpline where I would support individuals dealing with suicidal ideations and mental health needs.
